What is Scrip?
Scrip is a gift certificate or gift card that you can
spend just like cash. Scrip sales are one of
Robinson PTSA’s largest year round fundraisers. Last year, Scrip
(including eScrip) raised over $30,000 for the PTSA. Supporting the SCRIP
program requires no extra dollars from your budget. You shop at your
favorite retailers, and the retailer passes on the discount directly to the
PTSA.
How does the Scrip Program work?
Local merchants sell scrip certificates to Robinson PTSA at a discount. Then the PTSA sells scrip to you at face value. You pay no more to use scrip than you would cash. Robinson earns the difference between the face value of the scrip and the discounted price (4-15%).
What can I do to participate?
Buy Scrip! With every purchase you earn revenue for Robinson! Scrip order forms are available in the office. Fill out an order form with the type of scrip you want, attach a check (payable to Robinson PTSA) and submit it to the school office (it will be ready for pickup in the office the next week), walk up to our scrip table on Wednesdays (1:00pm-2:00pm) and place orders, shop online at www.shopwithscrip.com, or place a Monthly Standing Order (MSO) - fill out the green MSO form with vendors you use regularly and we’ll have your order waiting for you at the beginning of each month. Earn rebates for Robinson every time you swipe your credit cards and grocery cards!
Register your Von’s card, Ralphs card, Macy’s card and all your major credit
cards. Visit www.escrip.com and www.ralphs.com to enroll.
shopping for students
You can earn dollars for Robinson every time you shop anywhere at the Manhattan Village Mall by taking your receipts to the concierge (located across from the Apple Store) for credit to Robinson Elementary. For more information, please go to www.shopmanhattanvillage.com.
